Lightening McQueen Party

It's a Party - Family came over to celebrate Reece turning THREE.  It was a Lightening McQueen party....all Reece has been saying lately is "I am speed".  He thinks he's Lightening!  We've now added "Ka-Chow" and "Vrrrrm Vrrrrrm" to the vocabulary!  It was a great time and one that Reece is still talking about.

my cake...my cake....my cake

Reece spotted his birthday cake cooling. It was not decorated yet but he was excited and singing about it Friday night.

Look Whose THREE!

Reece is THREE - Son and Mom went off to Target to have some photos taken of the newly turned three year old.  I can't believe Reece is already three.  Time is just flying by.  We had a great time and I love how the photographer captured Reece's true fun loving personality!

4th of July

It's a Parade - Kids from the neighborhood lined up for a parade.  Everyone had decorated their bikes including Braden and Reece.  We used streamers and a pinwheel on the front.  It was a lot of fun.  We met some new kids and neighbors and enjoyed popsicles on this hot morning.  Happy 4th of July!!

Blastball

Session 1 - Braden and his friends Cooper and Chase participated in Blastball this summer.  It was a lot of fun watching the boys field the ball and yell BLAST.  Then when they hit the ball they had to run to first base...which honked when they jumped on it.  They all had a lot of fun.

Holy Cow!!

Lego Tower - How tall can we go?  Aaron and the boys have been inspired by our recent trip to Lego Land.  Today they built a Lego tower and it went al the way to the ceiling.  Notice the support on the fireplace mantel....daddy is smart!

Couple of Bowlers - we met another family one afternoon and went bowling at the Kansas Union Jaybowl.  It was a great time...we had the place to ourselves.  Seven little boys...yes seven bowled.  Our two, our friends three and they had two little friends.  We had the bumpers in place and a dragon to roll the ball from.  The boys had a blast.

Helpers

Packing Helpers - I was getting ready to pack for our trip out to Ohio to celebrate Memorial Day when the boys decided to 'pose' on our bed.  Cuties!!

Preschool Graduation

Graduating Preschool - Well, not quite.  Braden went through the motions with his class but we are keeping him in Preschool one more year.  With a September birthday, he'll end up being one of the oldest in his class but that will be great for Braden.

It was a cute ceremony with some singing, a slideshow of photos and then answering the question but they wanted to be when they grow up.  Braden said "...an Army man".  Not sure where that came from as all we hear about is being a Reclycling Truck Driver or an Eye Doctor like his daddy.  I think it was influence from some other little boys who wanted to be Army men.

I'm relieved that Braden is not graduating Preschool just yet.  We have another year to look forward to of activities before Kindergarten.

Royals Baseball

Ballgame - a friend gave us tickets to a Royals Baseball game so we packed up the boys and went into KC. We went a little early and walked around the ball park before eating some lunch.  We then watched some of the game and ate ice-cream out of baseball hats.  It was a lot of fun!!!

Sleepy Reece

Sleeping Upright - Reece did not want to miss out on anything as Aaron and I were watching tv in the room right next to his.  He actually fell asleep in the corner right next to his door.  Funny thing is we did not realize this until Aaron went to re-tuck him in bed before he went to bed.  Aaron could not find him...  Upon exiting the room, he saw him sleeping in the corner.  Silly Reece!  Once again, we had a great laugh!!

Mother's Day

My Boys - Aaron and the boys treated me to a nice lunch and gave me a beautiful necklace. It has three charms....one with a 'B', 'R' and 'Z' for each of my boys. I love it and when I wear it I think of them. It was a very special day!!

Half Birthday

Happy 6mos Birthday Zachary - isn't he adoarable? I just love his little rolls and his cute face. Zach is the only one with blue eyes in our family...gets that from the Grandma's and currently has blonde hair.

At his 6mos appt he had grown quite a bit and is now in the 90th percentile for height. Weight is another story...we need to work on those rolls!

He's one healthy and happy baby! We are so blessed!

Flower Boxes

Home Depot event - we went to another build session at the Home Depot.  The boys made a container to hold flowers.  Again, so much fun.  We really need to mark the calendar so we don't miss such fun times!!
