Apple pick'n

Cider Hill Apple Orchard - a trip to the apple orchard is a great way to start off the fall season and we did just that.  Picked a bushel of apples and my parents were able to join us!  Apple spice square and apple pie making is in my future!

Sunflower Farm

Sunflower Farm - It is that time of year again.....sunflowers!!!  Love that we are so close to a farm who grows sunflowers.  It is an amazing sight and represents Kansas!  So glad that my parents could join us this year! 

Theatre Lawrence - SOTI

Space Avengers Camp -  The boys went to a week of theater camp and loved it.  On the last day, they did a short performance for the parents.  So fun to see the boys out of their normal element!  They did fantastic and had such a fun time.  Both want to do it again.

Holiday Break 2014 - We had a wonderful time celebrating Christmas in Lawrence, KS this year.  Santa was good to the boys and we've had a lot of fun adventures with GG, Grampa and Uncle Brian.

Soccer boys - Reece is loving soccer.   For his 1st season playing he's doing great!   Zach knows how to chill at the games!

Cider Hill Apple Orchard

Apple Pick'n - There's nothing like some fresh apples straight from the tree.  We had donuts, picked apples and are ready to do some baking.  Even bought some apple butter which will be delicious on some toast for breakfast tomorrow!  We all had a great time!

Go Braden Go - Awesome day of football.  Braden had a great run and catch during the game.

Hurricane Flag Football - Braden is playing football this year and really seems to enjoy it.  First game today after many practices.  He's the tallest one out on the field....we just need to teach him to catch the ball.  Had a great catch and run today....almost a touchdown but his flag was picked just before the end zone.  Fun season ahead!

Beautiful - I love to go and look at the sunflowers each year.  They are a sight to see!

My Pals

Artwork - Braden brought home this really cute drawing from school the other day. It portrays his 'pals' Henry, Charlie, Hank and Riley our dog. Too cute!! He even has the school uniforms ..khaki shorts and a navy blue shirt.

Soccer

Kick It - Reece is playing soccer this year for the first time. He's a natural and loves being out on the field. He gets so excited being out there and is so much fun to watch!

T-Ball for Reece

Another season behind us.  Reece did a fantastic job at T-ball this year.  He loved 'wacking' the ball and running the bases!  Way to go Buddy!!

Baseball for Braden

Braden had a great season playing Coach Pitch (aka Aaron as the pitcher) Baseball. The boys stepped it up into a tougher league and it was so fun to watch them develop throughout the season. Of course, Aaron at coach, had a hand in that as well. The highlight for Braden was playing catcher and being the only one to catch a pop-fly! It was an exciting game!!

4th of July

Great Wolf Lodge - Fun family 'stay-cation'. We enjoyed a lot of swimming and putt-putt. It was a wonderful way to spend our Holiday weekend (at least part of it). The kids enjoyed every minute of it (Aaron and I did too!)

Tooth Fairy

Loose tooth - Braden lost another one tonight.  Hoping the tooth fairy comes!!

Quiet time

Tent building -  I should have known something was going on as it was too quiet during nap/quiet time.  Reece and Braden built a fort today.  Pretty creative!

Baseball boy -  Reece is ready for his t-ball game!
