Halloween Cookies

Bakers - The boys helped me make some cut out Halloween cookies.  It is a family tradition that my mom did with us.  We made a bunch in preparation for friends coming over to decorate them.  The boys had fun baking (or should I say getting messy).  More flour on Braden or in the cookies?

College Game Day

Go Tigers - the boys and I were all ready to cheer on the Clemson Tigers.  They looked good until the end.  Unfortunately we lost to Florida State but it was a fun game to watch.

Look Whose FIVE

Braden Turns 5 - I took Braden to have his five year photos taken.  He put on a new outfit and after putting it on realized he needed a belt so we bought one minutes before our appointment.  I did not realize it until I was looking at the photos just what that belt did....turned my little boy into a little man!  He's so grown up looking....but thankgoodness he is a typical 5 year old and fun loving!

Standing Tall

Zachary loves to stand - our little boy is not only crawling all over but loves to stand up. He enjoys looking out of the windows and pulling himself up to new heights. He's quite proud of himself and so are we!

5th Birthday Take Two

GG's visit - While Aaron and I were out of town in Maine, GG came and watched the boys.  While here, she celebrated his birthday with him.  A Scooby Storybuddy and some gifts from Uncle Robert.  A cool Transformers shirt and special crab frame.  It was a fun 'party' that also included yummy cupcakes!

Monarch Butterflies

Monarch Butterfly Migration - KU Research had an exhibit for everyone to come and tag butterflies before they migrated to Mexico. We met up with some friends and it was a really nice morning. It was really fun and the boys loved holding all of the butterflies.

 

 

Braden Turns 5

5th Birthday Party - Braden had a Transformers Rescue Bots Birthday party at McDonald's with some of his friends.  Hunter (cousin), Chase and Cooper (from daycare) and Reece. 

He was so surprised to have all of his friends there and had so much fun.  This was his first party with friends so it was quite special.  The boys played, enjoyed Happy Meals, opened presents and we ended with some yummy cake.  It was a great day!

Baking Cookies

New Cookie Recipe - Aaron and the boys decided to try out a new cookie recipe. They were yummy and the boys had a blast helping.  We all had fun taste testing!

Trip to the Zoo

Family Morning Out - we took the boys to the Zoo and enjoyed a beautiful morning.  The weather was gorgeous and the animals were out and about.  The boys love being a lion as you can see in several photos.

Football time

#1 Clemson Fans - The boys are dressed and ready to cheer on the Tigers in the kick-off game to the season.  Clemson beat Auburn thanks to some loud cheering by the boys.  Go Tigers!!

 

Artwork

Preschool artwork - I always ask Braden about his day and anything he brings home.  Today he brought home this drawing.  When asked about it, Braden said, "...my head thinking about me and Chase."  I think it is pretty accurate!

 

Sunday outing

Bikes and Park - we have really enjoyed taking a bike ride on Sunday evenings.  Tonight we went to the park and had a picnic.  It was a beautiful evening and one that everyone enjoyed. 

Jayhawk cake

Happy Birthday Daddy - The boys helped make a KU Birthday cake for Aaron.  It was exactly what he wanted....red and blue with cream cheese frosting...YUMMY!  We had a lot of fun decorating it too...sprinkles galore.  

 

 

1st Day of School

Braden goes to Preschool - 1st day of school and Braden is all excited.  Mrs Fowler was absent but he he took a photo with Mrs. Robertson the class helper.  Reece was also excited and thinking about when he gets to go...next year.  We're off to a good start!

Trip to McDonald's

Bike Ride - We all went to McDonald's or a special treat this Sunday.  The youngest two rode in a bike trailer and got a kick out of it.  Braden rode all the way their on his own...a good 2 mile ride.  It was fun. 

Welcome Back Students

Braden's locker - Corpus Christi had a welcome back dinner for students and families. Braden was excited to see his teacher Mrs. Fowler again.  He's ready for preschool!  Here is showing off his school locker. 

Boogy - Boogy

We Love to Dance - the boys love to turn on the cd player in the kitchen and dance.  We are pretty silly but it is a lot of fun!  Oh yeah and the boys also love the camera...they took all of these!

 

Special Visit

Looks whose in town - we got a surprise visit from Great Grandma Andries.  We had her over for dinner and the boys had fun seeing her.  They also got to see Grandma and Papa Wilmes who recently returned from Florida with Disney t-shirts for the boys.  They loved them..THANKS!

It was a nice evening and we just had to take some photos!

James Island Vacation

On the Island - what a family vacation we had this summer!  The boys were on the go with non-stop fun.  Trips to Piggly Wiggly, playing at Waterfront Park, beach fun in the sand and ocean, crabbing, a Pirate cruise and plenty of fun with their Uncle Robert, Uncle Brian, Grampa and GG.  We never have enough time. 

Excited

Ready to go - Braden can't wait to go to Charleston.  He's got his beach buckets and is wearing his Piggly Wiggly shirt.  July will be a long month as we are not going until August.
