Tiger Hat - Reece just loves his Clemson Tiger hat and we think he looks adorable in it. He loves to run around chasing Braden saying "Grrrr"!

Wilmes Christmas

Christmas celebration - We celebrated Christmas on the Wilmes side on Saturday January 7th due to an extended stay in Ohio this year. It was a nice evening with dinner, yummy pie and the opening of gifts.

Youngest Clemson Tiger - Zachary is sporting his Clemson uniform to cheer on the Tigers in the Orange Bowl. He is looking good unlike the Tigers who lost.

Gold Rush Kansas

Trucks, Bulldozers, Wash Stations and more... - Gold Rush is Braden's new favorite show thanks to Grampa Gens.  They discovered it over Christmas and it quickly became a hit because it shows all kinds of BIG trucks, bulldozers and more.  Braden can now tell you how Gold is discovered. 

A home is being built in our neighborhood and as we walked by, we called the worksite, 'Gold Rush Kansas'....hence the photo below...

Ohio Christmas

Merry Christmas - Aaron, the boys and I all traveled to Ohio for Christmas.  It was a wonderful time!

Family Christmas

Santa came to town - We went out to dinner at Marisco's for a nice family evening and while we were out, Santa came to our house.  Guess that Santa received their letter asking him to come early since we would be in Ohio for Christmas. 
The boys were so excited!  They must have been good this year a they received a lot of nice gifts.

Party at Work - Well, I thought everyone wanted to see me at my work Christmas party however I was wrong...it was all about Zachary.  A friend of mine at work had Katelyn on 11/10/11.  Cute babies if I do say so!





Christmas Performance

School Christmas performance - Corpus Christi Catholic School held its Christmas performance where the kids sang songs.  Braden and his class did a terrific job.  It was a special evening followed by an ice-cream treat!

Christmas with Uncle Brian

Christmas begins - Uncle Brian could not go to Ohio for Christmas so we had him over to our house.  It was a very nice evening with the hit being a tent he gave Reece.

Newest Catholic

Zachary's Baptism - what a special day this was!  Zachary was Baptized over Thanksgiving which allowed for our family to attend.  Grandparents, Uncles, Aunts and Great Grandma Andries from Minnesota.  Thanks for making his day so special!!

Very Thankful

Happy Thanksgiving - The Gens clan came to Lawrence, KS once again to relax and celebrate Thanksgiving. We had so much fun....building tents, making acorns, playing with Lego's, reading stories and much more. It was a great time!

Halloween artwork

Budding Artists - the boys have been very busy at daycare and preschool coloring and doing other crafts for Halloween and the fall. Here are some examples of some of the fun things they have done.

Halloween trial run

Beep Beep - Watch out...here come Mater and Lightening McQueen! The boys and I have had fun making their Halloween costumes. Can't wait until Halloween night when we can really show off the lights.

Bed or Changing Table?

Monkey Climber - Reece, sometime during the night, climbed his changing table and decided to sleep up there. Needless to say it is no longer in his room. (note: Braden in the corner who was getting dressed and snuck in the photo). Scared me as he easily could have rolled over and fallen off.

Silly Reece

Naked boy - Reece....just like Braden at the age of two....likes to unzip his PJ's and take his diaper off. As in other posts (vaseline in Aug), thank goodness I checked on Reece a second time before going to bed. Poor guy was cold but sound asleep with his diaper and PJ's almost off. Once again, Reece made me laugh. If only I could find pj's that zip up the back to prevent this!!

PS....yes, those are Christmas PJ's....hey, it is a hand me down that fits!!! We've since bought more!!
