Tumbling Class

Jump ~ Jump - on Saturday's Braden participates in tumbling class with his friend Chase. They boys hav a great time running, jumping and hanging around. Most of the time they have a ball in their hand but other times he's walking on the balance beam, jumping on the trampeline or hanging on the uneven bars. We have such a great time!

On the verge of crawling

Crawling - Reece is on his way to crawling. He loves to rock back and forth. Pretty soon he'll be on the move!

Cookie - Reece enjoyed his first cookie. He was a quite a mess but really enjoyed it.

Kisses - Reece loved looking at himself in the mirror that is in this book. Not only was he checking himself out but he was also giving himself kisses. Too cute!

Homer

All Grown Up - We pulled out Homer the other day for Reece to use and he absolutely loved it. Homer was a gift to Braden from Santa on his 1st Christmas (2007). Braden, of course, saw Reece get on so wanted a turn. It about broke my heart to see my once little Braden too big to fit on Homer. Where does the time go? I better not blink because I'm sure that Reece is right behind him!

Learning to Read

Books - Reece is enjoying a book that he received from his cousin Sofie in Germany. We love to read and Reece enjoys the pictures. Braden even joined in the fun. Thanks Sofie...we think of you every time we read it!

Sippy Cup

From bottle to cup - Reece is trying out his new sippy cup. He enjoys chewing on it more than drinking out of it. He definitely likes it though and is learning how to use it rather quickly!

A trip to the zoo

The Topeka Zoo - it was a gorgeous weekend when GG and Grampa came to visit so we went to the zoo. We had a lot of fun and it was nice to get some fresh air after being kept indoors all winter. The animals appeared happy to see us too! It was fun!

Washing Dishes - One night while I was getting Reece ready for bed, Braden decided to "wash dishes" using all of the extra soaps, tooth brushes, shampoo and other toiletries for guests. At least he is neat....right?

ABC's

Now I sing my abc's - Braden is learning all kinds of things at the age of 2 1/2 years old. He loves to sing and here he is singing his ABC's.

#1 Helper

Winter snow - Braden enjoyed helping his dad on this snowy day. Not only did he help by shoveling the driveway with Aaron but he also knocked off all of the icicles on his daddy's truck. Such a good little helper!

Webcam chats

I see you - Braden has so much fun talking to GG and Grampa Gens on our webcam. He loves to sing, show off and share stories with them. It has been a great way for us to stay connected.

Reading to Reece

Reading - Braden had fun reading to Reece one day. It was really cute to hear him telling a story to his little brother. I'm sure we'll have many more of these special moments.

A Friend's Birthday Party

My first Birthday Party - Braden got invited to his first birthday party and had a wonderful time. Kenzie is a little friend from daycare who turned 3 years old. Baby Jay, Cole Aldrich and Brady Morningstar were there! It was so much fun!

Valentine Cards - What better thing to do than a craft on a cold wintery day. Braden and I decided to make some Valentine's Day cards for his friends at daycare along with family. We had a lot of fun!

Peek-A-Boo - Daddy is making Reece giggle by playing peek-a-boo. It is so much fun to make him laugh!!!
