Happy Father's Day

I Love You - my Daddy is the best. We have so much fun together and it was great to celebrate this special day!

Big Boy Room

Painting - while Mommy and Daddy painted my room, I decided to take over the hallway. I moved all of my pillows (because I was sleeping on a mattress on the floor), blankets, toys and stuffed animals out there and decided to make a mess. Even though it was a mess, Mommy was Ok with it because it kept me occupied.

My first night - On May 31st, I had my first night in my Big Boy Room. Mom let me decorate a bookcase with all my books and stuffed animals. I was so excited. Well, as you can see, it is now empty and I was so scared that I put everything in bed with me. Finally, after a couple of hours of Mommy and Daddy being with me, I fell fast asleep.

Took me about 3 weeks but I've got the bedtime routine down pat and mom and dad are quite happy. I LOVE my new room.

Fun at the Lake

Lots of "wa-wa" - Boy did I have fun going out in the boat! "Wa-Wa" (aka water) was everywhere. We had a picnic on the boat and cruised around. It was so much fun.

Memorial Day Weekend

Return of the Fisherman - we waited to see Daddy, Grampa Gens and Uncle Robert return from a morning of fishing. It was neat to see Daddy out on the boat in the water.

Just hanging out - We celebrated Father's Day with Grampa. I gave him a recordable card...he loved it! Uncle Robert and Daddy grilled out and I ate two hotdogs. They were yummy and I was hungry. Everyone says I'm a good eater!

Grampa's boat - Grampa took mommy, Uncle Brian and I on a cruise before he had the boat docked. Uncle Robert than met us at the dock with the car. I had so much fun being in the water and seeing all the birds. I can't wait to go out in the boat again!!!

KU Baseball

KU vs. K-State - we all went to a KU Baseball game and met up with Daddy's friend Brad. It was a lot of fun especially because KU won. Daddy was really happy! Go Jayhawks!

Broken Arm

First trip to the ER - Two days after Mommy and Daddy begain painting my "Big Boy Room", I decided to climb out of my crib. That wasn't fun as I broke both bones in my left forearm.

The hospital was really nice and gave me "Mr. Ted" along with some pain medicine. I'm feeling pretty good right now!

The Cast - I had to wear a hard cast for 3 weeks but it didn't slow me down one bit. In fact, I loved the attention...all of my family and friends signed it for me. I'm so special!

Happy Mother's Day

I Love You - Mommy wanted to spend the day together as a family so we went to the Deanna Rose Children's Farmstead. Boy did we have a great time.

I just love the tunnel slide and could go down it all day. Daddy and I then treated her to lunch at the Cheesecake Factory before heading home. I think she had a lot of fun....I know I did!

Charleston, SC family vacation

Our Arrival - Grandma and Grampa picked mommy and me up and we went straight to downtown Charleston for some lunch at Blossom Cafe. It was yummy and a great start to our vacation!

Fleet Landing - Friday night after daddy played golf and mom tried to get me to nap, we went to Fleet Landing for dinner. I had flounder and it was yummy! We ate out on the deck right off of the ocean and it was a beautiful view!

Middleton Plantation - Grandma, mommy and I all went to Middleton Plantation. We toured the beautiful gardens, we bounced on a Charleston joggling board, had a picnic and took a carriage ride. It was one fun day and I was exhausted!

Church and Brunch - Grandma, mommy and I went to church and then picked up daddy for brunch at 82 Queen in downtown Charleston. This is mommy's favorite restaurant! We ate out on the covered patio and it was so nice!












Daddy gave me a pickled okra which I thoroughly enjoyed and was quite silly with.

Pineapple Fountain - I got to play in the Pineapple Fountain at Waterfront Park. It was so much fun! I splashed and walked around with all the kids. It was a lot of fun!

More of my baby brother....

Mommy's doctor wanted to make sure my baby brother was OK so mommy had to have another sonogram. She found out he's doing great and was able to get more photos. Doctors now say he is 1lb 10oz and his due date keeps moving up. That is only because he is so big....we'll see come July!!!

Red Hot Wheels

I love my hot new wheels! Daddy couldn't put it together fast enough. I tried to help him to speed things up but instead just sat in the car while he assembled my new car. Now that the weather is nice, I love riding in my car on the driveway!

Let's celebrate

Mommy, Daddy and I celebrated when we learned there was going to be another boy in our family. We went to our favorite restaurant in Lawrence....Paisano's!
