Charleston, SC family vacation

Our Arrival - Grandma and Grampa picked mommy and me up and we went straight to downtown Charleston for some lunch at Blossom Cafe. It was yummy and a great start to our vacation!

Fleet Landing - Friday night after daddy played golf and mom tried to get me to nap, we went to Fleet Landing for dinner. I had flounder and it was yummy! We ate out on the deck right off of the ocean and it was a beautiful view!

Middleton Plantation - Grandma, mommy and I all went to Middleton Plantation. We toured the beautiful gardens, we bounced on a Charleston joggling board, had a picnic and took a carriage ride. It was one fun day and I was exhausted!

Church and Brunch - Grandma, mommy and I went to church and then picked up daddy for brunch at 82 Queen in downtown Charleston. This is mommy's favorite restaurant! We ate out on the covered patio and it was so nice!












Daddy gave me a pickled okra which I thoroughly enjoyed and was quite silly with.

Pineapple Fountain - I got to play in the Pineapple Fountain at Waterfront Park. It was so much fun! I splashed and walked around with all the kids. It was a lot of fun!

More of my baby brother....

Mommy's doctor wanted to make sure my baby brother was OK so mommy had to have another sonogram. She found out he's doing great and was able to get more photos. Doctors now say he is 1lb 10oz and his due date keeps moving up. That is only because he is so big....we'll see come July!!!

Red Hot Wheels

I love my hot new wheels! Daddy couldn't put it together fast enough. I tried to help him to speed things up but instead just sat in the car while he assembled my new car. Now that the weather is nice, I love riding in my car on the driveway!

Let's celebrate

Mommy, Daddy and I celebrated when we learned there was going to be another boy in our family. We went to our favorite restaurant in Lawrence....Paisano's!

My baby brother

My baby brother is looking at mommy and daddy on March 23rd, 2009. An image of his hands and foot are below.

I can't wait to meet him. Doctors say he is already 1lb 2oz and will be as big as I was. Mom is hoping he comes early!!!

Where's the Jayhawk?

Not only can I point out where my general body parts (nose, ears, eyes, belly button, feet and mouth) are located, I can also point out a Jayhawk! Daddy is quite proud of me!!!

My 1st Surgery

Mommy and Daddy said I was a brave boy. I had tubes put in my ears on February 24th. After a LONG nap, I came downstairs to some Get Well gifts. The balloons were especially fun! I'm doing so much better now!!! YEAH!

Modeling overall's that my Uncle Robert gave me for Christmas. I'm pretty cute in these. As you can also tell, mom gave me my own drawer in the kitchen. She was tired of me getting into every other cabinet. My favorite "toy" are the cookie sprinkles...they make lots of noise when I shake them!














I think I'm good at feeding myself but mom thinks otherwise. They just laugh at me! I'm good at making us all smile!

Monkey Bizness

Mom and Dad took me to a fun place called Monkey Bizness. I was able to jump, slide and bounce all around. We had a super time and I hope I get to go back. Between you and me, I think mommy and daddy had just as much fun. They were laughing and smiling the whole time. Of course, it wore me out and I slept the whole way home!

Valentine's Day 2009

Thanks Grandma and Grampa Gens for my Valentine's Day goodies. The cookies were especially yummy!!

Christmas Gift from Santa

Mom and Dad said that Santa had some problems with my gift so it arrived a bit late. I got a workbench and love to put things together. It is so much fun. At times, I think the box is even more fun than the workbench. Two gifts in one..... THANKS Santa!

Christmas in Ohio - we celebrated Christmas with my family in Ohio. GG (aka Grandma Gens), Grampa, Uncle Robert, Uncle Brian and AnnMarie were all together with us. It was a wonderful time that always goes by too quickly.

We started the vacation by driving through the night...Aaron is quite the trooper! The boys and I slept and it went fast for us. Before arriving in Massillon, we stopped in Columbus where Aaron grew up. It was fun to see his old house and elementary school.

While in Ohio, we had a lot of fun playing games, eating way too much food, opening gifts, cheering on the Clemson Tigers, playing with a new Wii that Grampa got and so much more. It was fun!!!

My first time playing in the snow!

We finally got just a little bit of snow so mom, dad and I all bundled up and went sledding...well, I went sledding. They pulled me around the yard and we had so much fun! I hope it snows some more this year!!!

New hair gel

This is what happens when mom gives me strawberry jelly on my toast! I love to use it as gel for my hair. Pancake syrup works well too for those other kids reading this!
